Initially there had been a deliberate decision with rockhopper to avoid the overheads associated with building an accounting sub-system, especially since the marketplace already offers so many excellent choices.

Accordingly, rockhopper contains an invoice module, which prepares data for upload into your own accounting system, whether it is a modest MYOB® or QuickBooks® system, or an enterprise-level accounting package, such as Great Plains® or Accpac®.

At the time of writing, rockhopper has been interfaced to MYOB, Quickbooks, Great Plains, Masterpack, Accpac, and Carry.

Nonetheless, an Accounts Receivable package is currently being built so this function will be native to rockhopper by the end of this year.
